November 1st Kick Off!!
For many, today begins the mad rush to the 50,000 word finish line.... Cheers to all of you Nano'ers of 2006. I look forward to reading some very interesting creative endeavors. For those of us who aren't Nano'ing away, we may be Nablo'ing. Yes, it is the first annual NaBloPoMo and for those of you thinking it sounds a little naughty... Get yer head outta the gutter!
There is a huge list of participants and I can only wonder how many I will stumble across as I surf through the blogosphere. Well... why leave it up to random surfing? The list of participants (the long list) is right there on the page. I decided I'd go through each section and pick out my favorites from the list. Luckily, the 0-1 list is nice and short, easy for my limited attention!
There were two blogs that I think I enjoyed the most from this section:
24/7 A Mother's Work is Never Done
This blog has some delightful comments and observations of a mother. And, check out that awesome header... I wonder where she got that?
She has a lovely description of who she is and I chuckled several times while reading through her previous posts. This blog appears fairly new in the blogosphere as I only see four months of history. But, from what I've seen, it's entertaining and a place I think I'll enjoy visiting again.
Number Two on my favorite from the 0-1 list is the:
What can I say? I love the written word and blogs about books and writers and writing are always interesting to me.
50 Books has some great tidbits of the book world, some nice reviews, some great images and an overall fun atmosphere. I enjoyed reading through past entries and I definitely think I'll be adding this site to my browser favorites to visit again.

I'm starting at the bottome of the list. I can't believe how many W entries there are.
Or how few of them actually have the word "Writing" in them, considering this is a spin-off of Nano. Good luck on NaBloPoMo, RaShEnBo!
But I LIKE having my head in the gutter where NaNoBlowMo comes in! :D
Melissa,
I briefly scrolled down... I'm not sure I'll be able to keep up with my thought of doing a section review each day!!!
Andrew,
Well, many people have the soul of a writer... just not the time to pursue it... and blogging is so addicting!
Susan,
HEHEHEHEHEHEHHEHEHE gutter thoughts sure make things interesting, no? I'm surprised you didn't say, NaNoBlowME!! :)
Computer malfunctions permitting I always blog every day.
Can't claim anything special for what I intend to do anyway.
Gutter thoughts??
Oh.. oh! ::blushes:: Up until now, "NaBloPoMo" has done nothing worse than fill my head with thoughts of bubble gum. You're just evil, you are.
Cool blog reviews! Do "A" next!! ;)
Thanks for stopping in and "peeking." (And no, haven't forgotten about the frog...)
Thanks for the kind words (though I'm sorry these thanks are coming so belatedly). Good luck with everything NaBloPoMo!
7tLPPL write more, thanks.
Good job!
actually, that's brilliant. Thank you. I'm going to pass that on to a couple of people.
